YR Appointed to ICP

Congratulations to our Director of Fundraising, Luis Valdez-Jimenez, appointed by Commissioner JC Bermudez to the Miami-Dade County Independent Civilian Panel. Luis is an attorney, entrepreneur, and public speaker. The ICP is an impartial entity created by the Board of County Commissioners to conduct independent investigations, to review concerns or grievances made against sworn officers of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

We look forward to Luis’ service on this board, ensuring that police officers are treated fairly and impartially, and fighting back against Democrat Party efforts to weaponize the ICP.
